Our Commonwealth deserves a healthy, just, and sustainable future.

Our labor unions and partners are ready to build it.

We are a coalition of labor unions and partners who represent workers and residents from Gloucester to Cape Cod, and from Boston to the Berkshires.

Green jobs should be good jobs.

When they are, everybody benefits.

We can reduce emissions, reduce inequality, and create good jobs all at once.

Green jobs are not necessarily new jobs; union-trained workers in Massachusetts already have the vast majority of skills necessary to complete them.

Also, there is no “worker shortage” in our labor unions; most apprenticeship programs have far more applicants than they are able to admit, based on anticipated labor projects. Scaling up would only require commitments for more projects.

If those projects emphasize fair wages and other labor standards, we can meet our emissions goals while lifting up environmental justice communities and without leaving anyone behind.
